The most popular Bulgarian resort of Golden Sands is located on the Black Sea coast, about 20 km away from Varna. Thank to a wide beach with fine golden sand and a mild climate (there is no oppressive heat, air temperature is +27-28, water +24-26), an abundance of mineral springs and the unique atmosphere of endless holiday, Golden Sands is today's busiest resort. Here is a wide choice of entertainment: from pools with water slides, spirals and snack bars in the water to surfing and sailing on yachts. For environmental cleanliness, Golden Sands is annually given an honorable "Blue flag".

Golden Sands is practically merged with the resort of St. Constantine and Elena and the Riviera resort. Beach of the resort is bordered with a large forest and extends for over 3.5 km in length and 100 m in width. Mineral water flows here from several large pipes directly to the beach. Beach is located along the small streets, with nice cozy hotels and beautiful parks, leading to small bays on both sides of the resort.

Many famous events take place here: international festival of sport dance, tennis tournament, old-fashioned rallies, various contests and competitions. There are numerous restaurants offering different types of cuisine and entertainment in different styles on the resort. Golden Sands resort offers a lot of modern and renovated hotels.
