A cozy resort town of Balchik is located on the Black Sea coast. It is protected from sea winds by the Cape Kaliakra. Balchik - a lush greenery, houses with roofs of red tiles, sloping down to the sea as an amphitheater and white cliffs. Here is an atmosphere of calm, peace and harmony. Hotels have mainly small and compact territory. On the territory of Balchik is situated the famous Botanical Garden of the Romanian Queen Maria, which houses a beautiful alley of roses, and the second on the Balkan peninsula collection of cacti (more than 250 species of plants).
