It lies on green plains of Thessaly, washed by waters of the Pagasetic Gulf, practically at the foot of the majestic Mount Pelion, where according to a legend, once lived famous centaurs - half people-half horses. Among them - wise and kind to people centaur Chiron - the tutor of legendary Greek heroes: Achilles, Asclepius, Jason. From Iolkos Jason and his friends, searching for the Golden Fleece, went to Colchis on the ship "Argo".
