Турку в 2014 станет пионером в развитии электромобилей и городского электро-трафика.

Городской совет принял решение определить на своей осенней сессии приоритеты в развитии электро-трафика в Турку. Однако, уже сейчас стали известны некоторые подробности о планах городских властей.

Электромобили в скором времени станут основой городского общественного транспорта - в дополнение к трамвайному сообщению, которое появится в Турку в скором времени, в настоящее время готовится программа электрификации городских автобусов. Дополнительно, в скором будущем все автомобили, находящиеся в собственнострода, будут электромобилями.

Городские власти также надеются на развитие частного автопарка электромобилей и готовы оказать всестороннюю поддержку, а также обеспечить развитую инфраструктуру.

В Финляндии обсуждается переход на норвежскую модель развития электротрафика, по которой транспортный налог на автомобили с нулевым выбросом в атмосферу равен также нулю.

«К марту 2015 года, в соответствии с планом проекта, будет создана сеть из 50-80 точек подзарядки. В последующие годы планируется строительство 5-10 точек зарядки в год», говорит директор по развитию компании Турку Энергия Антто Кулла.

Первая точка подзарядки электромобилей, в соответствии с тем же планом, появится в Турку уже в ближайшие недели.

Директива ЕС по развитию электромобилей обязывает Финляндию построить 4000 пунктов подзарядки к 2020 году. На сегодняшний день в Финляндии существует около 400 мест для зарядки, расположенных в основном в торговых центрах, станциях техобслуживания и парковках. Обычная зарядка занимает 6-9 часов и позволяет проехать 150 (максимум 300) километров. Станции экспресс зарядок стали появляться в Финляндии в посленее время. Они позволяют провести зарядку автомобиля за 15-20 минут.

Стоимость станции для подзарядки электомобилей, включая базовую установку, составляет в Финляндии сумму около 1700 евро.
