Constant revolting by the Egyptian people persuaded the United Kingdom to issue a declaration of Egypt's independence on February 22, 1922. The Egyptian Republic was declared on 18 June 1953, with General Muhammad Naguib as the first President of the Republic. The tourism in Egypt appeared near two thousands years ago.
