There is Still Time to Participate in the Open Helsinki Data Visualisation Competition!

Open Helsinki is a data visualisation competition that seeks for new innovative ways of expressing something familiar in a new visual format. City of Helsinki Urban Facts organises this competition open to everyone under 19 years old and one can participate as an individual or as a part of a group. The topic of entries is free, entries can feature anything from subjects the participants learn at school to school environment or hobbies. The prizes in both categories of the competition – those under 16 and those 16-18 years of age – are 500 euros, 300 euros and 200 euros. There are also additional products and surprises as prizes. One can and should participate this competition and it is still possible until 30th of April 2012.
