LAITURI EXHIBITIONS DURING THE WDC YEAR
Laituri is one of the most important Helsinki venues for World Design Capital year 2012. Through our abundant variety of exhibitions and events, we wish to offer the city’s residents new insights and ideas on how design can be used to improve their quality of life.
Exhibitions, which change every month, follow the theme ‘The open city – opportunities for improving the lives of city residents’. With the Laituri exhibition centre, we wish to activate residents to take part in the development of their environment. During the World Design Capital year, our main themes are the future of Helsinki, development of the urban environment, and improvement of the environment and public services.
You are very welcome to explore our free-of-charge exhibitions!
