Select the country and object's type Rudolf Goes Au Naturel on Finland’s Red Nose Day

Santa Claus and his favourite reindeer take part in the national charity event in Rovaniemi on Friday November 7th – guess who doesn’t need to bring a clown nose?

It is Red Nose Day (Nenäpäivä) in Finland this Friday, and in Rovaniemi, the hometown of Santa Claus, the dynamic duo is right in the middle of the action: Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer can be taken selfies with on Lordi’s Square in the town centre, where Santa Claus himself will also be making an appearance.

Making Millions

In Finland, the four-week charity campaign culminates in national broadcaster YLE’s five-hour Red Nose Day Show. Last year, the campaign raised more than three million Euros in Finland.

Red Nose Day is an international series of charity events first introduced by UK charity Comic Relief in 1988.
