Brazilian landscapes give a birth to a sense of constant admiration of beauty and strength of tropical nature. The climate varies greatly from equatorial to subtropical. Forests strike with its length and height, beaches stretch from horizon to horizon, vast expanses of ocean are boundless. The largest forest of Brazil is the Amazon jungle. They occupy about 60% of the country’s territory. Over 4 thousand species of trees, hundreds of varieties of palm trees grow in the jungle; some palm trees reach a height of 60 m. The Coconut tree is unpretentious. It grows in forests, sandy beaches, sometimes at the very edge of the ocean, in gardens and on city streets, and bears fruit all year round. The Banana is another very common and useful plants of Brazil. This is the most popular fruit in the country. Only in Brazil there are orange bananas, in addition to usual yellow. Ripe bananas of different sorts can be different in color - from green to chocolate brown. In forests, in gardens and city parks can be seen Jaqueira or breadfruit. This plant was imported from India by the Portuguese in the XVIII century. Jaqueira tree reaches 20 meters in height, and its fruits can weigh up to 15 kilograms. Jacques - the fruit of this tree, is very juicy and sweet. The mango and papaya are also common. Watermelons, grapes, cherries, strawberries, melons, apples, pears, imported by settlers grow in Brazil very well.
Local fruits – the Aserola, has color and shape of a tomato, but grows on a tree.
The most beautiful and most famous Brazilian flowers – the Orchid, the Alpin, the Azalea and the Water Lilies.
Most of Brazilian birds are of remarkable bright colors. Champion in the brightness of feathers – the Parrot. These birds can be red, green and blue, azure-blue and multi-colored, like a rainbow. No less strange than the Parrot, is the Toucan - a large, clumsy bird with a huge bright yellow or orange beak. Another famous bird of Brazil is the tiny Hummingbird. Hummingbirds can be seen in cities, gardens or in parks.
The most famous animals of Brazil - the Leopard, the Armadillo, the Sloth, the Coati and the huge Sea Turtle.
