Select the country and object's type Jewish Cultural Celebration is April 28 in Little Rock

How would you like to experience a traditional Israeli meal of kabobs, falafel and Israeli salad and not have to cook it? That’s just one of the many attractions of the annual Jewish Food Festival scheduled for April 28. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. with a special breakfast. The rest of the events begin at 10 a.m., ending at 4 p.m.

The Jewish culture takes center stage at Little Rock’s River Market with food, music, religion, and history. The menu also includes old-fashioned corned beef sandwiches, lox, bagels and cream cheese, kosher hot dogs, rugelach and many more Jewish delicacies.

Cultural and religious booths will showcase Jewish life from Arkansas to ancient Israel. Learn about Jewish holidays and life cycle customs. The kid’s space has plenty of activities ranging from face painting to a whole area for jumping activities. Entertainment includes contemporary and traditional Jewish music. The B flats, the Klezmer Band, the Shechinotes and other acts are back by demand.
