Magic Springs Water and Theme Park in Hot Springs opens for the 2013 season on April 13. New for this year is Splash Island, a giant interactive water play structure. The structure stands more than four stories tall and features 10 colorful water slides and an enormous tipping bucket that dumps 1,000 gallons of water every ten minutes. It also has slides, bubbler jets, water wheels, tipping buckets, water curtains, net climbs, pools and waterfalls. Splash Island is expected to open Memorial Day weekend.

The Splash Island expansion is the fourth major attraction to be constructed in the destination’s water park since 2007. A Magic Springs Season Pass, priced at $69.99, allows for unlimited visits to the park plus up to 18 free shows at their concert series at Timberwood Theater.

The park also has thrill rides and kids and family rides on site. There is also a water park with the Boogie Blast surf attraction, a wave pool, body slides, tube slides, racing slides, and other rides. For more information visit MagicSprings.com or call 501.624.0100.
