St. Petersburg Festival Ballet is based on a some leading ballet artists from St. Petersburg and the ballet troupe of the Ufa State Ballet Theater. Relationship between Ufa and St. Petersburg is more than symbolic ... Ufa is the continuator of St. Petersburg Ballet traditions and one of Russia\'s best ballet Theaters.

Shchedrin, \"La Bayaderу\", \"Don Quixote\", \"Paquite\" by Minkus, \"Giselle\" by Adan, \"La fille mal gardee\" by Gertel, \"La Sylphide\" by Lovenskjøld, \"Blue Danube\" by Strauss, \"The night of Valpurg\" by Gounod, \"Cinderella\", \"Romeo and Juliet\" by Prokofiev, \"The Fountain of Bakhchisaray\" by Asafiev and others in which the producers and performers succeed in achieving true craft.

The theatre often goes on tours abroad all over the world, it gave performances in the USA (1995, 1996), France (1995), Holland (1996), Belgium (1996), Italy (2000, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2011), Germany (2011), Portugal (2005, 2007), Finland (2011), Czech Republic (2011), Brazil (2007), Thailand (2006, 2007, 2008), China (2008), Egypt (2003, 2005).

The Sleeping Beauty was the first of Petipa\'s classics to be seen in Western Europe. Under the title The Sleeping Princess, it was presented by Serge Diaghilev (1872-1929) in London in 1921. In 1939, it was remounted in Great Britain and has been considered the foundation of the Classical ballet repertory in that country ever since. It has now been adopted worldwide, and performance of the leading role remains a kind of initiation rite for aspiring ballerinas.

The story about the beautiful sleeping princess and the brave prince who wakes her up with a kiss, Tchaikovsky composed some of his most beautiful music. The magnificent stage design of the production takes the audience to the wonderland of fairies and beauties.

Sleeping Beauty is one of the most popular ballets and belongs to the international standard repertoire of the classical ballet. Tchaikovsky himself held it for his best ballet.
