Select the country and object's type Houdini Straight Jacket Escape to be Performed in Eureka Springs

“Must-see” is sometimes an overused term, but not when you’re telling people about a Houdini straight jacket escape off the roof of one of America’s most haunted hotels. And that’s exactly what I’m telling you. Sean-Paul of Intrigue Theater intends to perform a Houdini straight jacket escape off of the roof of the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs at noon on Oct. 4. I know I don’t want to miss it!

In fact, Sean-Paul, whom I find quite intriguing to talk to, has two more extraordinary events planned in the month of October. Don’t you just love October and everything it brings with its Halloween theme?

Sean-Paul will also perform a Houdini milk can escape in downtown Eureka Springs at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20. He’ll hold a Houdini séance at 10 p.m. in the ballroom of the Crescent Hotel on Oct. 31.

According to Sean-Paul, “Houdini was a huge opponent of the mediums and the spirit world and would go out of his way to expose them. He did so because he was frustrated that it wasn\'t real, but he wanted to communicate with his deceased mother. But even while he was the most hardened skeptic, he still wanted to believe and had a deal with his wife Bess that he would try to come back from the dead and contact her. Houdini died on Halloween! Every Halloween there are seances trying to connect with Harry Houdini.”

Sean-Paul will also take on a challenge from the editor of the Citizen newspaper.

If you’re not familiar with Sean-Paul, he is the creator of Intrigue Theater. Sean-Paul and his wife Juliana Fay take guests back in time for a Victorian, turn-of-the-century experience. If you liked the movies, The Illusionist and The Prestige, you’ll love Intrigue Theater. Find out more about the show at www.intriguetheater.com.
