Select the country and object's type Family-Friendly Festivals in June Throughout Eastern Arkansas

June brings with it a variety of great festivals in the Arkansas Delta and the north central Ozarks.

Start your summer with a bang at Portfest in Newport on June 1-2 with the excitement of concerts and fireworks. Held at Jacksonport State Park, the event features a performance by the Charlie Daniels Band on Friday night and by Craig Morgan on Saturday. It’s the 27th annual Steamboat Days along the White River in Des Arc on June 1-2. You’ll find carnival rides, live entertainment, a 5K, activities just for the kids. The event also offers food vendors, a poker run, a pecan pie cracking contest, arts and crafts and a car show. Live entertainment on Friday includes performances by The Bluz Brothers and Riverbilly. Downtown Wynne is the site for the 36th annual Farm Fest on June 8-9. The festival features barbecue cooking contests with youth and adult divisions, a rice cooking contest, the PBJ Happee Day Carnival, games for kids, arts and crafts and a variety of food vendors. Celebrate the stars and stripes and the freedoms we enjoy during the 15th annual Freedom Fest on June 29 in West Memphis. The patriotic, community-spirited celebration begins at 6 p.m. at Tilden Rodgers Park. Participants are invited to bring picnic suppers, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening of American music and patriotic tributes performed by the Bartlett Community Concert Band.
