DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the addition of its tenth hotel location in Washington DC-Baltimore area – the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC-Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland. Guests may choose from a selection of newly redesigned guest rooms and 52 suites at the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC-Silver Spring that focus on relaxation, sophistication and functionality.

Senior vice president of operations, Glenn Schumaker, and regional director of sales and marketing, Chris Colvin, will lead the management team at the newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC-Silver Spring with their combined fifty years of experience in the hospitality industry. Schumaker is a 32-year hospitality veteran, who has worked with Milestone Hospitality since 2002. Colvin’s hotel sales experience began 22 years ago in the Washington DC market and during the past eight years she has represented Milestone Hospitality’s Silver Spring hotel collection.
