Las Cruces Artist Featured in Exhibit at New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum

A new exhibit at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum features the artwork of Las Cruces artist Linda Hagen.

\"The World Around Us: The Artwork of Linda Hagen\" opens in the museum\'s Arts Corridor on Dec. 16 and the exhibit will remain on display through April 1, 2012.

The 33 paintings in the exhibition are inspired by the openness and the light of the Southwest. Hagen\'s love of horses and the beauty of the outdoors is reflected in her work.

Hagen\'s art is sometimes impressionistic and sometimes realistic. Her wide range of painting styles and techniques keep the exhibit interesting and appeals to a wide variety of tastes. Her artwork captures the spirit of the land and the people and the animals that depend on it.
