Select the country and object's type Carioca Hotels had excellent occupation rates on the Republic Day holiday

An ABIH-RJ survey showed that hotels had more than 90% of their rooms occupied for the Proclamation of the Republic holiday on November 15.

The average for the city was 92.68%, representing an increase of more than 6% in relation to last year.

The boroughs most sought after were Copacabana/Leme, Ipanema/Leblon, with 97% occupation on the day. In Barra da Tijuca the average was almost 91%.
