The Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory Committee will be held in Little Rock and Jacksonville, Oct. 19-21. The committee meets at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism Conference Room, located on the fourth floor of the Multi Agency Complex, #1 Capitol Mall in Little Rock. This meeting allows the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program staff to assist the Committee with the review of the Fiscal Year 2012 FUN Park and 50/50 Matching Grant Applications for city and county park development.

The Committee next meets at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 in meeting rooms A and B of the Jacksonville Community Center, located at #5 Municipal Drive. It is for invited 50/50 Matching Grant Applicants while the Oct. 21 meeting at 9 a.m. is for invited FUN Park Grant Applicants. Time has scheduled time for each to describe their grant request and answer questions the Committee might have to assist them with the grant award recommendations.
