The 22nd annual Hoo-Rah Days is Oct. 7-8 in De Queen at the Sevier County Museum Complex at Herman Dierks Park. This year\'s theme is the Civil War. The Ticket to the Twenties Fall Festival Oct. 15 in Smackover offers a festival set in a 1920s-era theme. A Hunter Education Class is Oct. 15-16 and Oct. 29-30 in McNeil at Logoly State Park. Each class is a 10-hour instructor-led course with classroom presentations and hands-on demonstrations. Class on Saturday is from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All classes must be attended to take the test on Sunday afternoon.
