The world’s largest hot air balloon festival is back. For nine days, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta celebrates “Earth, Wind & Flyers” as the skies will be filled with glorious color as hundreds of balloonists float gently over the beautiful New Mexico backdrop. Reaching for the sun and floating in the wind allows pilots and passengers to experience spectacular and diverse views of the city and countryside. These flying adventurers turn the city skies into a magical kaleidoscope of color.

Excitement and adventure can be found on the ground as well. More than 700 balloons launch from 72 grass-covered acres at Balloon Fiesta Park where Santa Fe Sage Inn hotel guests can walk amongst the balloons finding out first hand what it’s like to experience the magic of ballooning. Guests will experience mass ascensions, balloon glows, the Special Shapes Rodeo, and the Annual America’s Challenge Gas Balloon Race.

Experience the beauty of flight and create memories that will last a lifetime at one of New Mexico’s premier events.
