Select the country and object's type Doña Ana Arts Council Presents the Missoula Children's Theatre Production of Pinocchio

Las Cruces, NM - A kid-friendly audition will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of Pinocchio Monday, July 25, at the Rio Grande Theatre from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Those auditioning should arrive at 9:30 a.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Among the roles to be cast are Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, the Fox and Cat, Candlewick and Crew, Urchins, School Kids, Puppets and Toys. All students entering first through 12th grade are encouraged to attend. No advance preparation is necessary - just bring smiles and energy! Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. Theatrical workshops will follow immediately from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Theatre camp fees are $60 per child ($20 additional, same family) and scholarships are available.

Pinocchio will be presented on Friday, July 29, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, July 30, at 2:30 p.m. at the Rio Grande Theatre. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 & under.
