Attractions of Germany. Max II - the son of Ludwig, continuing tradition of his father, decorated Munich with beautiful buildings and has laid the Maximilianstrasse street. It starts from the Max-Joseph square and leads to the Isar river. Behind the crossroads with the Ring - the former boundary of the city - the Maximilianstrasse street expands - there are boulevards from both sides of the road. Here is the building of the Parliament of Bavaria. On the contrary is the Museum of Ethnography. A little further you can see the monument to another one representative of the Wittelsbach House - Maximilian Joseph II. Besides of seeing all architectural wonders of Maximilianstrasse, you can get a great pleasure from shopping. Here you can find an abundance of exclusive fashion and gift shops of all kinds. The amount of German tax - 16% - is returned to tourists.
